We are in Florida Baby!!!
We casted off our lines and headed to the fuel dock to get pumped out and pay our dockage. We had already walked the pups and John had already settled up with Xtreme Marine. We were heading to Fort Walton but the ride was so nice today that we kept going until we got to Destin, Fl.
Fun day on the water. We saw beautiful white beaches, dolphins playing in our wake, Navy vessel (made me think of my dad) and wonderful sparkling clear water. We tried to stay at several marinas but no openings in the inn. The weather is suppose to be quite nasty tonight and we really wanted to be tied up to a dock and not anchored out. Jackie finally got us into a place a ways down from Harborwalk Marina.
Excellent evening sitting in the back martini deck (aft deck) enjoying the lights and music from the surrounding area. We heard a loudness sound like thunder but it kept on. We realized that to the west was a large fireworks display. It was awesome and the finale was excellent.
Another great day on “No Schedule”. Pinch me are we really in Florida on our boat? Life is good!!
